Although several steps have been taken to prevent and protect children against violence, there is still a long way to go. Together with our project partner ANPPCAN we want to mobilize communities to break this circle.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Organization:<\/strong>\u00a0African Network for the Prevention and Protection Against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project:<\/strong>\u00a0Promoting the Rights of Children against Violence<\/li>\n<li><strong>Country:<\/strong>\u00a0Liberia<\/li>\n<li><strong>Goal:<\/strong>\u00a0Raise awareness on violence against children by training children and important stakeholders in the community and to increase access to justice for child victims of violence by establishing\u00a0<em>Child Help Desks<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Child Help Desks<\/h2>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/archived.kidsrights.webkey8.nl\/uk\/news\/story-of-hope-impact-on-fatu\/\">Story of hope: impact of our project on Fatu<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>Together with local organization ANPPCAN KidsRights will improve the implementation of the national Children\u2019s Law of Liberia and increase access to justice for children. We will build two Child Help Desks in Liberia that children can contact to report cases of violence. The Child Help Desks receive and identify cases of violence against children, and will make sure that these will be handled in accordance with the national Children\u2019s Law.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2>Our project partner ANPPCAN <\/h2>\n<p>ANPPCAN was founded in 2001 and focuses on the protection of children by  strengthening the community, families, professionals and the government.
