We give youth the opportunity to engage and act on themes related to the United Nations&#8217; Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and guided by children&#8217;s rights principles.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Founded by KidsRights in 2019 at the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Mexico, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">State of Youth <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">is a worldwide grassroots movement created for youth, by youth. We provide young people with the tools, resources, and global connections necessary to tackle the most urgent challenges facing the world today.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202fThe goal is to inspire children to create real change and impact worldwide.\u202f\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Since the launch of State of Youth in September 2019, the movement has grown rapidly. Young people become a part of the Programme as a group, which we call a Chapter. Chapters, run by youth, represent State of Youth locally in their communities and allows youth the opportunity to engage with local issues in their own country. It supports bottom-up social change by spreading the message, increasing awareness, building advocacy and creating action on issues that directly impact them.\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">As at December 2024, State of Youth has 355 Chapters located in 65 countries, covering all regions of the world.
