KidsRights works with children to create a world in which children\u2019s rights are guaranteed. Together we promote change. Worldwide, there are many talented children with promising initiatives and KidsRights works to recognize and support them in their effort to improve children\u2019s rights. No matter how small these initiatives may be, with the right support they can have an enormous impact.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through toolkits and trainings, they can take action individually – as a changemaker, or in a group – by setting up their own State of Youth Chapter. They become active with youth-led projects on the intersection of SDG\u2019s and Children\u2019s Rights.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Individual Changemakers work on specific projects and are categorized into 3 levels:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ACTION DEVELOPER<\/strong>: who will receive personal guidance including tips & tricks and individual feedback, and a letter of support. Once the project has been completed, they will receive an Action Developer Certificate;<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

FUND CATCHER<\/strong>: who will receive customized business cards and funds to support their project. Once the project has been completed, they will receive a Fund Catcher Certificate;<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DREAMING BIG<\/strong>: who will receive custom-made professional support, helping them to take their actions to the next level, advice and financial support to start or expand their youth organization, tailored to the specific situation and aspirations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\"\"\n

Changemaker working in groups are called Chapters. Chapters<\/span> aim to increase awareness, <\/span>identify<\/span> and <\/span>advocate <\/span>on <\/span>pressing issues<\/span>, locally and globally,<\/span> and create localized action in their own communities. <\/span>State of Youth chapters <\/span>comprise<\/span> of<\/span>:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CHAPTER LEADER<\/strong>: who organizes the chapter\u2019s activities. Examples of activities could include organizing fundraisers and hosting workshops or lectures. As a Chapter Leader, they are the point of contact for State of Youth;<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CHAPTER MEMBERS<\/strong>: who work together with the Chapter Leader to organize activities. They take on different roles in the Chapter to help facilitate the changemaking actions of the Chapter.
